Carrying on from the drawing technique used by Gondry, I remembered watching this music video a few years ago which uses time lapse to create the effect and leaves the artist in shot, which I felt added an extra level of interactivity to the piece
An excerpt from Michel Gondry’s I’ve Been 12 Forever (2004)
This short clip shows how Gondry uses a mixture of illustrations and narration to put his ideas across visually to the audience. This was one of the starting points for my project and deciding how I wanted to make my film.
